Workshop: How to come up with great ideas (ENG)

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

As journalists, we work under time pressure, usually have long to-do lists and sometimes, we cannot even choose ourselves which topics to cover. This does not sound like there is time for creative thinking, especially not for actual creativity methods. Right? This workshop shows that the opposite is the case. We will introduce six quick, easy and fun methods that journalists can include into their daily routines in order to come up with new topics, turn boring topics into interesting ones and to find the right angle to a story that matches their target group’s interests and concerns while still challenging their opinion. Most importantly: There will be time to try out three of the methods yourself! Everyone is welcome, no matter if you have worked with creativity methods before.
